Windows 10: Trouble during reformat Win 10 HP laptop

Hello I can sure use some held, I picked up a used HP f233wm I had to do a full factory reset on this computer, during this I was given a choice to delete the TPM when doing a search before choosing I read multiple articles stating as long as it was going to be sold then it was totally safe to delete the files or whatever it does to remove any keys and such from previous owner.I choose to delete, this prompt I got I am sure you know came after an hour or so into the reformat process, then after choosing to delete TPM it began doing a disc scan and now instead of it loading a new windows 10 it

I want to completely reformat a HP laptop. I want all the preloaded programs removed and have a fresh win 10 only with compatible drivers. how can I do this?

Hello all,

Can someone instruct me the correct way to reformat windows 10 home. I want reformat to where everything is erased and back to factory condition (like new). I assume when this done that win 10 will reinstall itself and any programs, etc that came with the Pc when it was bought new. I have an HP 510-010a with win 10 Home

 

Reformatting Laptop

I'm planning to reformat my laptop and in the Activation tab it says that i have a digital license activated and linked to a microsoft account. My question is if i reformat my laptop would it wipe the Windows 10? I purchased this laptop not knowing if
windows 10 is the default OS or it was installed by the store.

The main reason why i'm reformatting my laptop is because of USB mass storage driver is faulty and no update or installation is fixing it, i even contacted microsoft agents and ASUS agents (my laptop is ASUS x507ubr) and tried all the things they said from
system recovery upto downloading manually of specific drivers. Finally i decided to take it into the local ASUS store so that they could take a look and they said the only way is reformatting a laptop. They suggested that if i know how to do it i should do
it so i wont take extra charges. Hence my question above.
