    Trouble installing Canon MG8220 Printer - "MP drivers not installed"


    New computer today. Trying to get Canon MG8220 printer hooked up. The printer is found by windows, but not correctly installed. Control Panel says "Driver not installed." Downloaded driver from Canon website, tried to install. Error on installation says "MP drivers not installed." Stuck.

    White vertical streak when scanning using WIA Series 1.0 on Canon PIXMA MG8220, but not XPS or MP drivers

    I use the WIA Series scanner driver to scan documents in Quicken. I recently started getting a white vertical line when scanning. If I use the XPS or MP drivers there is no line! I have uninstalled printer, unistalled drivers and reloaded. Clean glass
    and lid, ( don't think there is dirt due to only scene on WIA scans ). Any suggestions . . I have also contacted Canon and they no longer support the PIXMA MG8220. Thanks, Nancy

    canon mp 470 printer driver for windows 10

    There is one listed for Windows 8.1 Did you try that one? It May work on Windows 10 but not guaranteed.
