Windows 10: Trouble installing Windows 11 on external Drives.

Hello, Im trying to install Windows 11 on to a USB drive but I keep getting an error telling me the drive needs to be cleaned out even though it is empty. I tried using a cleaned External hard drive and it gave me the same error. This is for my first PC Build

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
