Windows 10: Trouble Logging in with Remote Desktop by having a Microsoft Account

Hi guys, I'm trying to login via my MacBook with the official Microsoft Remote Desktop. I have no issues finding the name of the pc, but while setting up the account informations for the login. My Lenovo PC has windows 10 installed and the main account is logged in via Microsoft. As methods I've activated the fingerprint and the 6-digit pin.Now the question: what is the user account AND password to login via RD? Since I have no password to log into the pc only the pin and fingerprintThank you a lot, I'm really having a hard time finding anything on this.

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:

1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?
   

If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.



If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

link and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
TechNet forum.

Can't log in via Remote Desktop

I am having intermittent problems connecting via remote desktop. I use RD with a laptop to connect to my desktop PC. Both are running Windows 10. The desktop has Office 2016, the desktop has Office 2013.
Both are Lenovo machines.

When I am unable to connect, I get the message:

Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:

1) Remote access to the server is not enabled

2) The remote computer is turned off

3) The remote computer is not available on the network.

If the desktop computer is rebooted, I am able to connect, so the problem does not appear to be any of the 3 reasons listed above.

I'm having difficulty trouble-shooting this problem because it occurs when I am not in front of the desktop PC.

Any suggestions as to the cause or to how to troubleshoot this?
