Windows 10: Trouble on Network and Bluetooth Adapter after Windows 10 Update

After I update windows 10 and my laptop did BIOS update from it, now my network adapter and bluetooth adapter is now in trouble, here are what the trouble is:


1. my bluetooth shows "This device cannot start. Code 10STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"

2. my network wireless adapter is now gone, and

3. it replaced by network controller?, that not even do a thing.


Now the only way i can access internet is through my phonecable or LAN cable,

It does not see them because that is your list of hidden updates. You can simply check the ones you want to go thru and the next Windows Update will see them but auto install, so be careful if you don't actually want them.

Best thing to do and not screw up the list of Hidden Updates you already have, is go to Device Manager (Win+X), expand Bluetooth to see installed drivers. Then r-click the driver/Update Driver Software/Search automatically ... If there is a newer one, it will auto install. Test, if not happy roll back by doing same steps except click Properties and use roll back option. Good Luck

@aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.

Bluetooth and Network Adapters

Ever since Build 10041 of Windows 10, I've had trouble getting onto the Internet and staying there . . . it was a virtual impossibility!

Yesterday, after advice and help from many here, I went into Device Manager for the umpteenth time to see if I could update my network drivers. Windows told me I had the latest and greatest and things were running smoothly. NOT!

Anyway, I noticed that Bluetooth had the yellow splat on it. So, I right clicked and then clicked on Update Driver Software. DM promptly went out and got new drivers for it!

Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)

Whatever those are, after updating Bluetooth, they showed up in my Network Adapters and now I am able to get onto the Internet and stay there!





I am going to give feedback on this because it may be helpful to someone else.
