Windows 10: Trouble Setting Up 2nd Monitor on Windows 10 Build 10.0.18363

Hi, my system is:

If I click Windows key logo +p I get the options to duplicate or extend etc. but the 2nd monitor say no signal input. i have installed the trial version of DisplayFusion but this only shows my primary Monitor. I have tried various solutions I have found on the web but so far nothing seems to work. If i reboot the 2nd monitor briefly shows the ASUS welcome screen and then the led goes red. I have had it working previously, briefly, when I was first trying to setup the 2nd monitor, but something must have changed, or I did something I should not have done so I am were I am. Can somewhere put me out of my misery please!!![/td] [td][/td] [/tr] [/table]

Windows 10 is Resetting/Glitching with 2nd Monitor

We understand how you feel about the situation. We're sorry for the trouble.

Method1: I suggest you to change the monitor setting make the 2 monitor primary and 1 monitor secondary and check if that helps.

Press Windows + P to make the changes.

Method 2: Update the graphic driver and check if that helps.

Follow the steps to update the graphic driver.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter and Select Graphic.
• Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.
  
• Restart the computer and check.

2nd Monitor in Windows 10

Unlike other posts on the subject, my system partially recognises the 2nd monitor.

I was running my HD TV thru HDMI as a second monitor under Win 7.1 successfully. I upgraded to Win 10, and the system does not detect the tv. When I boot up, the windows logo appears on the TV, but after logging on I only get a blank screen. I have tried
various 2nd monitor setting, tried dectecting in the display settings and control panel, with no success. The fact that I get theWin logo suggests that whilst booting up the system is using only the BIOS settings and therefore recognising the TV. After logging
on it seems to use the windows settings.

Any suggestions?

 

trouble installing 2nd monitor

I am having trouble installing 2nd monitor. As soon as i connect to computer, all open windows in the main screen are minimized and frozen, so i cant go to dsiplay settings
