Windows 10: Trouble to log in with PIN for many users in Organization

Hi, suddently starting last week multiple of our employees said that they cannot login to their computer with their PIN. More and more users have contacted us about it. I will say at least 40 persons have noticed and most likely many more when they are back from vacation. Someone says KDC certificate could not be validatedMost others users get: Your credentials cannot be verified. Is this a issue caused by an update? We have researched a lot and wr have not done any related changes on our behalf.

Having trouble with "Some of these settings are managed by your organization"

The steps I have listed above are the only things that can cause the 'Organization' error in Windows, either awork or school account causes this, or a 3rd party anti-virus, or those commands should solve this, the only other thing I can suggest is to create a new user account in Windows and move all your data to that account.

 

Windows 10 PIN Log in, logs in multiple users

Good evening,

First off, I should mention I'm running Windows 10 on version 1709 on an HP Spectre x360 (13-4003dx)

Starting about a month ago, entering a PIN into one of my two Microsoft accounts (one is work and other is personal) logs both accounts in. In fact, doing so first gives me a warning that I entered the PIN incorrectly. After entering it again and checking
the Users tab in the Task Manager window, I see both users logged in.

It doesn't matter which I try first, they both end up logging in.

Here's my workflow:

• Turn on laptop after being completely shutdown
• Log into User account with PIN
• I receive a notification that the PIN is incorrect
• Try again
• This time I log in
• Once logged in, I open Task Manager
• Click User tab
• Notice my two user accounts are logged in

Just curious if anyone has had the same issue and a possible solution.

Corruption within your user profiles is one of the possible causes why you are experiencing the login issue. We'd like to know more about your concern so we can come up with an effective resolution. Kindly provide the answers to the following questions:

• Which edition of Windows 10 is installed on your computer?
• Are you using the same PIN for both user accounts?
• Is your device connected to a domain network?
• Are you using a Virtual Private Network?
• What changes have you made to your computer before this issue occurred?

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool. This tool will automatically repair the components of your Windows operating system and records the corruptions to the log file. To run the DISM tool, follow these
steps:

• Press Windows key+ X, then click on Command Prompt (Admin). If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Yes.
  
• On the Command Prompt window, type DISM /Online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth, then hit Enter.
  
• Once the scan is finished, restart your computer.

Note: While running the DISM tool on your computer, if any bad sectors are found on the system, data loss might occur. We suggest that you backup your files before running DISM.

After running the DISM tool, it is recommended to run the System File Checker
tool. It is a utility that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system and restore corrupted files. The link contains further information about how to run the System File Checker tool.
