    Trouble using multiple keyboards in Win 10


    I recently purchased a new desktop computer with Windows 10 Pro. I need to work with keyboards in 4 different languages 5 including English but I found that the operating system doesn't allow me to call up these keyboards layouts as needed. Most frequently it is the Icelandic keyboard that goes missing. It seems it still is on the list of keyboards in Language Settings, but unavailable from the taskbar. Please advise.

    Keyboard Trouble with multiple laptops

    Filter keys was off. Turned it on and back off just in case.
    No noticeable change in behavior.
    Tested different levels on repeat and delay options.
    No noticeable change in behavior.
    Thank you for your multiple suggestions so far, I appreciate the help.

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    It could be that individual keyboards are installed for that particular language. You can check the keyboards installed by following the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows key + I, to open
      Settings      .
    2. Click on Time & Language.
    3. On the left pane, click on Language.
    4. Click on the language pack for which you see multiple keyboards and select
      Options.
    5. If you see multiple keyboards, click on the keyboard that you want to remove and select
      Remove.
