Windows 10: Trouble with both TeleprompterPro and Microsoft recognizing that I have a Dell Computer

I recently bought a Dell computer and want to switch my Teleprompter Pro license to the Dell.

I see my purchase of the Teleprompter Pro app, but can't find a way to install it on the Dell. Every time I click on the purchase, it takes me to a page that will let me purchase or do a trial.

I don't want to purchase and I don't want to do a trial.

I did try to do the trial, hoping I could find the serial number of the product, but can't find it anywhere. It only has an "order" number.

When I selected to trial it, the only computer Microsoft recognized seemed to be the Surface.

I've emailed Teleprompter Pro, but got this vague response:

"Providing you are logged in to the same Microsoft Accountjust open the Store App and install Teleprompter Pro."

That didn't work!

Can anyone help me?

Dell Backup and Recovery Manager does not recognize my Dell


After the upgrade to Win 10 Pro from Win 7 Pro, my Dell Backup and Recovery Manager gives me an error message basically saying it does not recognize my Dell [e5420 laptop]. Dell support suggested I contact Microsoft support as this new problem is due to the Win 10 upgrade. MS support suggested getting a product upgrade from Dell (I have the latest version!)

Anyone know what is going on? I reinstalled Dell System Detect, which appears to work fine, but still the Backup and Recovery Manager does not see a Dell product.

Thanks for your suggestions. I don't believe they're in the wrong profile or in OneDrive...I access them through "This PC/C drive." I've tried to attach 2 pics...hope it came through...

I understand that you are unable to use USB drive on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with this.



However, please let us know:

• Do you receive any error when connecting a USB drive?
  
• Does this issue occur only with one particular USB or with all the USB drives?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article

Error: “USB Device not recognized” except for Method 1 and 2.
