Windows 10: Trouble with PC Xbox Live microphone? READ DESC for details

i have a windows 10 gaming laptop. I play sea of thieves (Windows 10/ Xbox App version) all the time with them and we are able to use the in game voice chat cuz we all own headsets. It works perfectly most the time. But the odd thing is whenever I use Xbox Game Bar ill occasionally join a party with my friends, and even tho everything is plugged in, and it says I'm using my headset as the mic and sound, the Xbox Party chat voices go thru the speakers of my laptop rather than headset. And they say they can barely hear me in the party.

Again, Ive confirmed multiple times that it says I'm using both My headset mic and the microphone and the headset as the sound, and for some reason My friends can barely hear me and their sound is coming thru my laptops speakers.

Like id be playing a game solo while talking in an xbox live chat thru Game Bar, and I can hear my game perfectly normally thru my headset and I can talk fine to people in game. But even at the same time the Game Bar party sound comes thru my speakers as the game doesn't. wth is happening lol

Xbox 360 Live Update

A new update for the Xbox 360 has been released over Xbox Live. The update, available upon signing on to the Xbox Live service with a 360, offers a few minor bug fixes, as well as a seal over a minor security hole that would-be system hackers had been experimenting with. Here's the update list:

• Improvements to the Xbox Guide.
• Option to retain your saved games when you delete a profile.
• Increased accuracy of "last time played."
• Network configuration improvements for Xbox Live® members in the Netherlands.
• More detailed messaging for unreadable disk or region errors.

• Press the Start button and type Services on the search box.
• On the list of services, look for Xbox Live Auth Manager,
  Xbox Live Game Save, and Xbox Live Networking Service.

The next steps should be done to the three mentioned services above:

• Right click on the service and select Properties.
• Set the Startup type to Automatic. If the service isn't started, click
  Start.
• Save the changes.
• Launch the Xbox App and sign in to your account again.
