Windows 10: Trouble with the touchscreen on my toshiba labtop

I have a Toshiba satellite laptop with a intel pentium windows 10 64bit touch screen and im trying to fix the touch screen and it told me to get ahold of the programmer because apparently it doesn't have the program it needs for the touch screen to work how can I fix this problem* Moved from Community Center

Have you tried refreshing the Windows 10 installation on your device? The steps are included in the same link I previously provided. Check the
Reset this PC section of the page.

If you encounter the same issue after resetting your Toshiba laptop, we suggest you rollback to Windows 8.1 and check if the touchscreen will work.

 

Toshiba laptop touchscreen not working after upgrade

Toshiba u845t upgraded from 8.1 to 10 home.

touchscreen doesn't work at all.

what I've tried

• disabling/enabling HID-compliant touch screen in device manager
• uninstalling it and restarting
• cleaning my screen
• searching for updated driver (says I'm up to date)

help please

 

How to open an Toshiba labtop?

i have opened many Toshiba labtop...

the object is to remove all the screws under the laptop...key thing is that you know where the screws go back. so you do is draw a picture of the laptop and tap the screw where they are located.

Then you want to remove the bezel top of the keyboard. usually you have to unclip the proctective hinge caps before you can take the bezel, sometimes they are one joined with the bezel.

then remove the keyboard...remove the screws under the keyboard, the frame should come apart, then remove the screw that holds the mobo to the the frame...and you should be set from there is re-solder the d/c jack.
