Windows 10: Troubles Delaying Audio on Windows 11

Hello, this is a project I picked up on the weekend. I am trying to run my Sony HT-S200F soundbar via optical cable, and a subwoofer via Aux. I have succeeded in getting them both to work, by going into more sound settings and enabling the Stereo mix option, so that both devices can run simultaneously. My issue is that the subwoofer plays about half a second before the soundbar, thus making all audio, whether it be music, gaming, or movies sound quite off and not enjoyable.What I've tried is a program called EqualizarAPO. Delay audio for specific device

My personal opinion is that adding a delay to the computer audio is not a precise
solution, for two reasons :

• There is no way that you can measure exactly the required delay
  
• Such a delay will be confusing for everyday work with the computer.
  

I suggest instead using a software product that specializes in mixing audio
and can solve the delay problem without introducing new problems.

An example product is the free
VB-Audio VoiceMeeter Banana.

I have no experience with the product, but I believe that you could use
this feature to introduce an audio delay.

This might occur, if some of the settings got changed or corrupted.

I suggest you to try running audio troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.

  Select Playing Audio under

Audio Half a Second Delayed (Windows 11, Bose QC earbuds)

I am having an issue where my sound is around half a second delayed, and I can't figure out why. Let's run through the obvious stuff I've done:

• Restart my computer (multiple times)
  
• Updated my computer
  
• Check audio drivers for updates
  
• Test multiple different applications (they're all delayed)
  
• Test my earbuds with my iphone (no delay)
  
• Test built-in computer speakers (no delay, so there must be an issue with windows connecting to this specific device)
  

Closest I've gotten to fixing it was opening up the audio enhancement menu, which brought a dramatic decrease in audio quality but somehow (magically?) fixed the delay, before even making any adjustments. I restarted my computer again and now this menu does nothing, not even decrease the audio quality. I've tried disabling all the audio enhancements and no noticeable change occurs anymore. I'm at a loss for what I should try next, I would appreciate any advice.
