Windows 10: Troubleshooter and update issues

Hello,I am experiencing an issue from many days in my laptop. I am using NVDA screen reader. When I gone to update my windows and install a cumulative update, it showed "There were problems downloading some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: 0x800f0805". And when I gone to troubleshooter, it showed and my NVDA is only saying 'SystemSettings.ViewModel.SettingEntry'. And also, some other problems like my notepad file not showing in desktop, microsoft word not opening after installed and

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):
