Windows 10: Troubleshooting Microsoft multitask overlays.

I am a Microsoft user that plays video games and streams on my qual monitor Microsoft pc. I recently have rearranged my monitors so that the left is portrait and the right is landscape. It’s saving more space and turns out to be more effective than expected. Currently I am having an issue where I want to keep my left portrait monitor as my primary. So that all overlays stay off of the screen that I am recording. I also want to have the games that I launch to open on the secondary screen. Unfortunately there are a handful of games that do not have a setting to choose which monitor to display

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
