Mercedes Benz Phone Cradle (model No. MB 67875877) - need a phone that will pair !

I need to buy a new cell-phone which will connect with my Mercedes Benz Cradle (model No. MB 67875877). I've seen the list of MB approved phones and alternative "approved/will work with" phones but they are all old model cell-phones.

I've tried my wife's 6300 but it doesn't pair.

Anybody know if the cradle can be flashed to accept newer phones or do they have a list newer phones that are known to work?

I've asked in a couple of shops today and they don't stock old models and suggest trying Flea Bay. Anyone got any advice, apart from parking up outside a Nokia shop and trying every model until the pairing works?

Unfortunately Bluetooth connectivity either via SAP or HFP seems increasingly to be the way forward on Mercedes Benz vehicles now.

You are correct that UHI cradle is not available for N73.

 

E52 with Mercedes Benz Bluetooth

I bought the E52 2 days ago as an upgrade from the E51. I have a Mercedes Benz C Class car with the factory installed Bluetooth Handsfree. From time to time, the E52 disconnects for no apparent reason, then reconnects again. Anyone have a solution??Also,
I noticed that the reception quality is very poor compared to the E51. Anyone have similar issues?
