Windows 10: Trust BT mouse stuck on "pairing" mode

Hi, I have a Trust BT mouse which I used for a year with the USB key and the 2.4 Ghz connection on my Windows 10 laptop. Then the key broke and I needed to start using it with the Bluetooth connection. The mouse connects well via Bluetooth on other Windows 10/11 computers, but not to mine. From the computer it says it's "associated" but then it doesn't work and on the mouse the status is stuck on "pairing". I tried to run additional troubleshooting, search for older drivers on the computer, and uninstall the Trust BT mouse from the Bluetooth drivers... But nothing has worked so far.

BT pairing problem

I am trying to pair my E65 to my laptop using Nokia Connection Manager (NCM). this is what i do:

1. open Nokia Connection Manager, click on BT connection and proceed with the steps until prompted to enter PIN.

2. I then enter the PIN in NCM and the phone and the pairing is done. I checked on the Toshiba BT Manager and manage to see the pairing listed in the program.

3. i then disable the BT radio on both the phone and laptop and re-enable it again.

4. Then launch PC Suite and click Get Connected button to get connected but couldnt connect (BT either set as hidden or shown to all, still fails).

5. I checked on Toshiba BT Manager and didnt see the pairing.

It seems like once i disable the radio, the pairing is gone even though i set the pairing as authorised in the E65.

how do i set the BT pairing so that it becomes permanent, without having to setup a new pairing everytime i re-enable BT radio?

 

Bluetooth mouse shows as connected on the PC but the mouse stuck on pairing mode, blinking and not working

Hi,

My bluetooth mouse stopped responding.

On the PC it shows as connected.

I removed the mouse from the bluetooth devices and paired it again: when I pair the mouse, on the PC it shows that the mouse is connected but the mouse keeps blinking as if it is stuck on pairing mode.

Only if I turn off the mouse and turn it back on it stops the pairing mode, shows as if it is connected to the PC but doesn't work.

I tried this on all 3 bluetooth options of the mouse - same result.

I purchased the mouse about 4 months ago only.

Can you please assist?

had difficulty removing old BT mouse and cannot pair new BT mouse

My old bluetooth mouse would not remove through normal methods suggested in online help sites, so I uninstalled it in Device Manager. I cannot get my new bluetooth mouse to pair. The led on the mouse flashes to indicate that it's trying to pair. The little buffering circle spins in Bluetooth & other devices in Settings, but the mouse will not pair with the computer. When I click on the 'add a device' and select the one for mice, the black window for 'select a device below' does not show any device below, and that black window disappears quickly. The mouse that I want to pair is the TECKNET 3 Modes Bluetooth 5.0 & 3.0 Mouse 2.4G Wireless Portable Optical Mouse with USB Nano Receiver. The LMP version on my computer is 9.256 which equates to bluetooth core specification 5.0, so my new mouse should be compatible with my computer.
