Windows 10: Trying to access my Gmail.

Has anyone had a problem getting into their "Gmail" account? I was asked by the Agent if I was trying to get into my Microsoft account or my Hotmail Account? I was given the option to use the Authenticator APP but after having read what the app can do I said no thank you. It's still a Beta program. then the agent suggested I read some of the problems and solutions in the Community to see if that will help.

I read the horror stories about people changing their password then not being able to get back into their Email. It sounds from what I read that the APP is worthless! Did I say "Beta"?


So, Has anyone had a problem getting into their Gmail account after changing their password. I don't mean using the Authenticator APP? I would love to hear from anyone.

Can't access Gmail account

I have my gmail account setup for 2 step verification. I was worried because I wasn't receiving a text with my code. It's working again so I guess it was a problem at there end.

No,i am able to access gmail in my Laptop..only in mobile am not able to..am not able to access by clicking ""Messages>mail>gmail"" :'(



i dont aware about step2 verification, Still you want me to follow those steps?

Please answer the query, mentioned below:

• How do you access your Email account (Web browser or Email client)?

If you are using Mail app, I would suggest you to first check, if Hotmail account is configured on Mail app?

Try these steps below to configure Hotmail account on Mail app:

• 
  Type Mail App in the search bar on the desktop and click on
  Add account in the Mail app Window.
  
• 
  Check for Hotmail account on Choose an account Window. If it is not available, go to
  Other account.
  
• 
  Add you Hotmail account Email address and
  Password in the Other account Window and check, if it works.
  

If both Hotmail and Gmail account is configured on Mail app, you can switch between Gmail and Hotmail account on Mail app. By clicking on the respective account name on bottom left.

If you do not want to use Gmail account on Mail app, you can delete the Gmail account.

Try these steps below to delete the Gmail account on Mail app:

• 
  Type Mail App in the search bar on the desktop and click on
  Add account in the Mail app Window.
  
• 
  Check for Gmail account on Choose an account
  Window, then delete the Gmail account.
  

If you are using a web browser, I would suggest you to go to
https://www.mail.live.com and sign in using your Hotmail.com Email address.
