Windows 10: Trying to add MS Account to my new laptop

I have just purchased another laptop and trying to connect to my MS Account. Both my PC and Laptop are both on Win10 Pro, connected to wifi no issues.I tried searching for the answer and as advised, created another user under 'Family and other users' on the laptop using the MS login as admin, which went thru no issues, I Login to my MS account using my MS login and password, but then it brings up another login page immediately after it 'Sign in to this computer using your MS account' says next time you sign in to this comp, use your MS acc password or Windows Hello. We'll need your current Win

Trying to switch to Microsoft account from local, unable to...

I tried that, more than once. I go thru the complete procedure of getting a new Microsoft account password, then when I reach the final step to key in the Windows password, I try my NEW Microsoft account password, and I get the same message-invalid password. No luck.

Any other suggestions.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Unable to create a new user on my laptop (both MS account and local)

The issue you are facing could be due to the Windows might not able to read your user profile correctly, such as if your antivirus software is scanning your computer while you try to log on.

Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps in resoling the issue.

Step 1.

I recommend you to create new user account using command and check if it helps.

  Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press Enter.
  
• Click on Add button and create a new user account.

Step 2.

Let’s try performing system restore and check if it helps.
Follow the below steps.

  Go to Windows log-in screen and press and hold Shift key.

  Click on the power option and restart the computer.
  
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot >
  Advanced options > System Restore.
