Windows 10: Trying to add swedish language to Windows 11 - Can't

When I try to add the Swedish language in Windows 11 settings, it shows but will not select.See screenshot.

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language
To change your Windows display language (that's the language you see most often in Windows and apps), first add a language, download and install the language pack, and then follow these steps.

  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.

Windows 10 Pro does not recognize Swedish keyboard

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Time and Language - Language

How many input languages are listed in the Preferred Languages section

Is the Swedish Input language listed there?

Do you want just Swedish as an input language or do you want multi-language input?

 

Default display language pack remains Swedish

Original title: display language

despite following all the correct downloading of language packs and also making sure that English is at the top of the list of languages, the default display language stubbornly remains swedish, which means i cannot use Windows 10 at all since i need English,
although living in Sweden. Can anyone help? My Windows 10 Pro version is 1511 OS version 10586.104
