Windows 10: Trying to attache a file but it's taking too much time to upload on OWA and outlook client

I am unable to attach documents to my email. The attachment starts to upload and it's taking a lot of time to attach the file

Emails with large attachments disappearing

Sorry for the inconvenience it caused. First of all, may I know the size of the attachment and the entire message? Are you using Office 365 for Business account and Outlook 2016 desktop client?



Usually, the file attachment size limit in Outlook desktop client and message size limit in Outlook desktop client is 150 MB. For Outlook Web App(OWA) is 112 MB. If the attachment is larger than the size limit, you wouldn’t be able to send it out.



Regarding to your problem, if your attachment is smaller than 112 MB, I suggest you can try to send it via OWA and see if there is any difference. Meanwhile, make sure your Outlook desktop client is up to date.

OWA attachments

I use OWA to remotely access to my company email and since a couple months ago I haven't been able to attach files on the OWA full version in any of the browsers I knew: Firefox, IE, Edge, Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi. Only by switching to the OWA Light I was
able to do it on Firefox, but this version of the OWA is absolutely not user friendly, so I have been logging out and in from one version to the other every time I needed to attach a file... This was until today that I've found UC Browser! This browser allows
to attach files on the full version of the OWA! I'm absolutely delighted with it! Go UC Browser!

 

Internet Explorer OWA Attachment Issue

I must have changed a setting in OWA or Internet Explorer because now, when I go to attach a document in Microsoft Outlook Web Access through Internet Explorer none of my documents show up at all for me to be able to attach! For some reason only this one
folder, "Daniel Work" populates, yet there's no documents showing. This was the folder I was working out of when the problem started.

A few extra pieces of info:

• I can see all my documents just fine when going through File Explorer or when trying to attach documents in OWA through other apps like Firefox or Edge.
  
• I do remember having to provide Administrator Access right before the problem started
• I've tried restoring my PC to an earlier date
• I've tried restoring Internet Explorer

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
