Windows 10: Trying to backup to an external hard drive - not OneDrive. Error message says I don't have...

I backup my surface windows 11 using OneDrive but I want to drag and drop some folders to an external hard drive. I receive an error message saying I don't have enough storage space in OneDrive to transfer the files. I have paused the OneDrive sync but this didn't fix the problem. The folders are already stored on OneDrive so I don't need to copy them to OneDrive. I just want to copy the folders to the external hard drive. Here is the message:1 Interrupted ActionThere is not enough space on OneDrive. You need an additional 367GB to copy these files. My external hard drive can hold 6TB.

There is OneDrive link (Explorer) on computer but I did not use it and do not know how it work. It was there when I had purchased computer last year.

I am not trying to backup computer rather two external hard drives.

Just a point of clarification. I do not have any problems with the operation of OneDrive.

I just want a copy of my OneDrive contents on an external hard drive.

The Seagate backup software that backs up my computer to the external drive does not backup OneDrive files consistently. (Apparently it reliably backs up files physically present on the computer; not those that are only in the cloud.)

I just want to make a full backup of my OneDrive to the external drive.
