Windows 10: trying to cancel Windows 10 order

Dear Sir,


On 12/25/19 I placed an order for Windows 10 home, and immediately after doing it, I tried to stop it. But I didn't work out how to stop it. I got an email on the 26th ,thanking me for the order. I sent a reply immediately.


The following is my reply to the Microsoft store:

"I tried to stop this order right after placing it and I have NOT downloaded your product. I've checked my MasterCard account and see the $143.73 is listed "pending". I am trying to stop the payment. MasterCard has responded with a request for me to initiate a dispute in approximately 3-5 day when it is estimated the payment to you will be made. If possible, please cancel the order. Thank you.

MasterCard initiated a dispute on 12/27/19.


Today 1/9/20, MasterCard has emailed that the dispute is still on-going. They say the merchant was notified and has until 3/4/2020 to respond.

I've come to this site to see if I can do something to cancel the order. But the instructions I've followed are not getting me anywhere. The history of my account that would allow me to do something is not opening.


Please help me cancel the order,

Thank you for being a part of Windows 10 Technical Preview testing.

How are you trying to cancel your reservation?

You can cancel your reservation at any time prior to installing Windows 10. Here’s how:

• 
  Right click on the Get Windows 10 App or Windows icon located in right end of the taskbar.
  
• 
  Select “Check your upgrade status”
  
• 
  Select “Cancel reservation”
  

Let us know the update after you try the above steps.

I'm not sure if you saw this as it was a reply to my own comment, but here is what worked for me:

"I found out how to do it! This article tells how. Right
click on the icon as above and then click the hamburger (3 horizontal lines) in upper left corner and then click view reservation and cancel."
