Trying to change country in my profile but can't due to child account. However, I have no child accounts...I get the error message "Du hanterar ett eller flera barnkonton. Innan du ändrar din profilinformation måste du ta bort medgivande för dessa barnkonton", translated to english "You manage one or more child accounts. Before editing your profile information, you must remove consent for these child accounts".The error message has a link to https://account.live.com/mykids.aspxThat page says the following"In the United States, South Korea, Brazil, and the EU, legislation requires that children

Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

Answering your questions:

• Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
• Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
• Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No

I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.

Manage my child's profile info does NOT show my kid

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Your child's account could be in a different region than yours. To comply with regional regulations around data protection, the child and the adult providing consent need to be in the same regulatory region. It might also be due
to the account is not configured in the right way. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to reconfigure the feature.

Step 1: Update your region.

• Go to Your info on account.microsoft.com and sign in.
  
• Select Edit country/region.
  
• Update your country or region to match your child's, then make sure the other settings are up to date. Select Save to finish up.
  

Step 2: Remove a child and add a child to your family.

• To remove a child from the list, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the article:
  
  Leave family group or remove members - Microsoft Support
  
  
• To add a child, sign in to
  https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ >> Go to
  Select a child to view or edit their settings and then select
  Add.
  
• Enter your child's email address and select
  Send invite. You need to accept the email invitation from a device with the Child account currently logged in.

Change Child's DOB in Family but no option to do so in Microsoft account

Hi,

I'm trying to change my son's DOB on Microsoft. All Microsoft instructions say to log in to my adult account, select him in Family and select 'Manage My child's profile info' and then choose 'Edit this child's personal info'

Seems straightforward but I don't get offered the 'Edit this child's personal info' option on the 'Manage my child's profile info page'.

All it has is a statement saying some countries have different steps to regulate what children can do online.

Any suggestions welcome as I've spent hours looking into this!
