Windows 10: Trying to connect to a printer that is physically on a Win 10 computer from a Win 11...

Trying to connect to a printer that is physically on a Win 10 computer from a Win 11 computer to no avail.The printer is visible from the network icon so I can choose it manually.Two other Win 10 computers on the workgroup can connect and print.Connecting the printer to the Win 11 computer physically allows printing which means it is not a printer driver problem. The printer is a HP LaserJet 1018Tried all the solutions suggested on the internet and so far without success.Any more ideas?

win 11 computer cannot connect to server host computer's shared printer, also win 11. "Resource is on line but isn't responding to connection attempts". I have gone through multiple setting procedures but no success so far. When the printer was hosted on a win 10 machine it hosted the same printer just fine. But when the change to win 11 happened a few days ago no computer, win 11 or win 10 could connect to it. This is win 11 22H2. Error message with details below

 

Win 10 Network Printer Connection Problem

I have tried, when using the wifi from a Win 7 computer to connect to the printer connected to it. Others can connect.

I did do the three steps outlined:

• Open File Explorer. Pick the "Network" icon from the left pane (navigation pane) of the file explorer UI.
• If sharing is turned off you will see a pale yellow line towards the top of the window that states "Network Discovery is turned off. Network computers and devices are not visible. Click to change...".
• Click this bar and select "Turn on network discovery and file sharing"

None of the suggestion worked.

I did notice that the PC I'm connecting to is 'Private' while I am listed as 'Public'.

• Can this be causing the problem?
• Are there other suggestions?

I need to be connected to use the other printer so work flow can not be disrupted and someone else needs to print the file for me.

Win 11 connecting to network shared printer

Trying to add a network shared printer to a Win 11 home laptop. The printer is connected via usb on a Win 10 pro pc & is shared & accessible to the homegroup network. The Win 11 laptop gives a 0x00000709 error when I try to connect through file explorer. The laptop can access other shared files on the pc. All network sharing options are correct.
