Windows 10: Trying to Delete Files/Links - OneDrive Issue

I have an old computer that I need to give away. It was used with OneDrive and the owner already has a new computer and using OneDrive. It seems like it is not possible to delete files & account info from a single device without obliterating your entire life-long collection of files? I closed OneDrive & signed out of it on the PC I'm trying to clean. I went into the account from the new computer and unlinked this old PC from the Microsoft ID on the account. Files are still on the old computer. So I try to delete them - they get deleted everywhere. Now they're gone. How can I

Photos deleted from gallery, deleted on Onedrive

It sounds like your photos deleted from gallery have also been deleted on Onedrive.

First I suggest you try to check maybe the Deleted Galary on your phone to see if it's possible to get deleted photos back. Then you may try to visit the OneDrive website to see if the photos you synced are there. If not, you may follow the steps listed on this link | Find lost or missing files in OneDrive (microsoft.com) to see if they could be found back.

Delete File Link


I have just had the AU from windows, and when I try to open a file that is pinned to file explorer on the taskbar I get this error. I can click delete, but it doesn't, and I can click 'unpin from list', but it won't. I can create another link to this file in the list but cannot get rid of the original. If I click to open the file, then it does.
Any advice would be apreciated
