Windows 10: trying to disconnect from Onedrive

Hi--I am trying to disconnect from onedrive. For the first 4 months that I had this PC, I had no internet, so didn't need to think about onedrive. Now that I'm back connected, Onedrive wants to sync all my files and folders, but it's taking over a month. In the process, Onedrive froze, so I followed the directions to reset. Now I have 2 versions of some things copies named for the name of my PC. How do I know which of the files is more recent?Right now onedrive is continuing to sync, and it's still taking forever to sync all my files large Lightroom files. My question--how do I make

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.
