Windows 10: Trying to download a Windows 10 app store game...

...and i'm trying to make it install on my D drive, using the default store app is useless as the install button there doesn't work for some reason.

I would assume that windows build isn't important, though I am fully updated, same with the apps listed.

I tried using the newer Xbox app and it tells me to set the other drive as the location where new apps are saved but I don't want to do that, I only want to install this game on the D drive, no weird app that i'm never going to use.

To top it off, when I do try to change the default drive it comes up with this:

Now I would love to assume that just means windows apps, but I don't want it to delete ~700GB worth of design work and games. Can someone please clarify if deleting those apps would keep those files safe, or direct me in how to just install this one game? Would be much appreciated!

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
