Windows 10: Trying to download SQL Server Developer Edition, however I'm not able to install.

I'm trying to download SQL Server Developer Edition, however I'm not able to install. I've exhausted all options and even taken this into a local windows specialist and he could not diagnose the issue or help me to resolve it.I'm working from a Microsoft Surface pro X with the following specifications: Processor: Microsoft SQ1 @ 3.0 GHz 3.00 GHz Installed RAM: 8.00 GB 7.54 GB usable System Type: 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processorWindows 11 is installed to the most recent version and everything is updated and working fine. I have also been able to download and use other Microsoft

Not able to install SQL Server 2012 R2 developer edition on Windows 10 machine.

I am not able to install SQL Server 2012 R2 developer edition on windows 10 machine. Setup start and stops immediately and didn't throw any error.

Even I have tried to installed following version of SQL server 2008 but no luck.

1. SQL Server 2008 R2 developer edition

2. SQL Server 2008 Express edition.

Please help

I would like to install SQL Server developer edition on my Windows 7 machine. SQL Server 2019 is not compatible. I would like to try earlier versions but cannot find download links for them.

There is some information on previous SQL Server versions on microsoft site in Products/Previous Versions section, but no download links to developer editions, only evaluation downloads.

So the question is: What is the latest version of SQL Server developer edition that works on Windows 7 and how can I download it?

I have error while installing SQL Server Developer Edition.

Unable to install SQL Server (setup.exe).

Exit code (Decimal) -2068119551 Error description SQL Server Browser configuration for feature 'SQL_Engine_Core_Inst_sql_engine_core_inst_Cpu64' was cancelled by user after a previous installation failure. The last attempted step: Starting the SQL Server Browser service 'SQLBrowser', and waiting for up
to '900' seconds for the process to complete. .

Please help me to fix this issue.
