  1. Trying to download this program and it won't open

I've been trying to download a remote desktop program but it's only downloading as an rdp file. When I open it, I only get options to open with other programs like Notepad, Word etc. I've tried deleting and redownloading it multiple times and the same thing keeps happening. How can I fix this?

    :)

  2. Windows won`t open an program when using Microsoft user

Windows won`t open an program when I try to open it with Microsoft account user, but when I login with local account, that program opens. I have tried with 2 Microsoft accounts, 1 admin and 1 normal user, and it won`t open in either one of them. What can cause this?

  3. Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

    1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
    2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
    3. I´m the administrator of the PC
    4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
    5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)
    Please help!

Trying to download this program and it won't open

    Vista x64 won't download updates?

    Try this, clean boot Vista:

How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support

Do Step 1. Ensure the native Vista firewall is enabled if a 3rd party
    firewall was disabled.
Next, open Internet Explorer as administrator.
    Then try this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

    Click the Fixit button.
If that does not resolve the error, try downloading the
    Fixit, ResetWindows.msi, and *save* it.
Close Internet Explorer and any other open programs, then *right* click
    ResetWindows.msi and choose Install.
Restart afterwards and see if the error is now resolved.
