    Hard to TL;DR this.

I recently swapped the HDD on my other laptop with an SSD, and now I'm using that HDD as a backup hard drive.

I plugged it into my main laptop (in an external enclosure), and was planning to delete all the folders and files that weren't personal (program files, system files, etc.).

At some point, there was a distinct "oh sh-" moment during the deleting when in the main directory, it got to some file "All Users" (which I am assuming was a shortcut of sorts) and the laptop bluescreened. It turned back on and logged in okay, but it was a bit 'off'.

Trying System Restore failed, both running normally and from within Safe Mode.

My main laptop now has some issues that can be difficult to describe. Per a recommendation, I made a new user profile, and I reinstalled Windows with the Media Creation Tool such that I didn't lose any programs, but there's still some issues like the pictured one, where pinning programs to the Start menu isn't always working. Reinstalling Firefox fixed that particular one, for example, but I'm concerned if this is the tip of the iceberg, considering the Windows light-reinstall didn't entirely fix it.

Do you think I should "Reset My PC" or is there some other possible diagnosis/repair that wouldn't be as time-intense?

    Specs:

    ASUS FX705DT

    AMD Ryzen 7 3750H

    Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5

    AMD Radeon RX Vega 10

    24 GB RAM

Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 primary drive

    2 TB Seagate ST2000LM003 HN-M201RAD secondary drive

    17.3"

    1920 x 1080

The mouseover text is supposed to be Firefox--clicking it does nothing, however.
