Windows 10: Trying to find 3 specific symbols/icons

Hello,I'm trying to figure out how to insert three specific symbols/icons in Word. Specifically, a symbol of a head with a question mark in it, a symbol of the outline of three people from the shoulder up, and a symbol of a pencil. I tried adding screenshots of the symbols, but it's not clear to me that they attached properly. I've tried googling for the head with a question mark and people symbols, but couldn't find instructions or a way to copy/paste. Any/all advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Erroneous symbols at the bottom left corner of desktop icons

I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates. A few days ago, the icons for objects on the desktop changed appearance. The icons are correct but
all have a symbol at the bottom left corner:

• Shortcuts show the correct shortcut symbol
• All files erroneously show a shortcut symbol
• Almost all folders erroneously show a shortcut symbol
• Some folders erroneously show "X"

The icons for files and folders (including the Desktop folder) displayed using File Explorer are all normal.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

New Windows 10 computer DESKTOP ICONS bizarre symbols that constantly change to 6 different symbols

Brand New Win. 10 computer.

I run Carbonite as cloud.

My desktop icons rotate and fluctuate between:

(I am not kidding)

1. no symbols (just the icon)

2. a large W (like word)

3. green dot (like the normal Carbonite indicator)

4. green check mark

5. Up arrow

6. gray X symbol.

Any suggestions?
