Windows 10: Trying to find something to play wlmp files!

I have spent hours trying to find a way to play wlmp video files created by Movie Maker. I now have Windows 10, which doesn't have MM and Windows Media Player won't play them in the format that MM created. The Movies & TV app in Windows won't play them. Everything I have tried to Google to find help, still doesn't help. Anybody have a solution?

Thanks, but that misses the point. The problem is not with the published movies, it is with the "Project "files which contains all the editing, transitions etc. Exporting, as you suggests, exports a finished movie. I want to be able to edit, revise and amend
projects, there are no problems with opening finished, exported, movies

I ask again, how can I open .wlmp files in Windows 10

How to change WLMP file to WMV file?

Hi Vickram,

To give you a heads up regarding your concern about the WLMP file, you can change the file to WMV file on the same computer where you create the same WLMP file. If you want to change the WLMP on a different computer, you need to save the files or data imported
on the WLMP where you want to change the file.

.wlmp Files

I got a Windows 10 computer this week, no Windows Movie Maker; some other videomaking programme in Photos. But, I have many .wlmp files, hours of work on various projects, which I often revise and amend. I learn that Movie Maker is no longer supported, so
what about the .wlmp files? Surely, please, there is some way to open them?
