  1. Trying to fix a computer for someone

They bought their kid a refurbed computer. He created his account on it, which is the admin account. He doesn't remember his password anymore. The email address he used for his Microsoft account he either typoed or something because he doesn't have access to it.

Is there a way to make a new admin account or do I need to reformat and reinstall? If I need to reinstall he lost his installation disc that came with it. We have the product id code though. Is there a way to make a new copy of the install disc to use with that code?

      on the keyboard.
    • Once it select shutdown option hit enter.

      Device Manager
      .

    • Locate Mice and other pointing devices and expand the same.

    • Right-click the device driver and select
      Up-date.

    • Restart the computer, if prompted.
If the above steps did not helps to fix the issue, try the below steps.
