  3. Change camera roll picture backup folder in skydrive

default folder to save photo on one drive from camera is: Pictures>Camera roll.

so why is my windows phone 10 keep on creating & saving it on Pictures 1>camera roll?? I delete this folder, yet it keep on creating it.

How do I get rid of the "1" and have it save on the default "Pictures" folder?

    update:

    found a work around.

Rename your Onedrive Picture to something else.

    take a picture and upload

a new folder will be created and it will be Pictures>Camera Roll and ur picture will be saved there.

then you can move your pictures back to the "new" Pictures folder.

Camera Roll folder. Pictures folder, OneDrive folder and Photo app

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I understand that you would like to know the purpose of camera roll folder in Windows 10.

The collection of photos and videos you have taken is called your camera roll. Photos and videos captured using the Camera app with your PC/device's built-in camera or webcam are saved to the Camera Roll folder in your Pictures library by default. If you
like, you can also save any image or video file into your Camera Roll folder as well.

Hope the information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    Thank you.
