Windows 10: Trying to install programs on Win 11 and all I get is to continue enter Admin...

I'm trying to install the Norton update. When I do all I get is "to continue type in Admin user name/password. There is only a box at the bottom that says No.I have tried to give my user admin rights, but I don't even have a Users option under settings to see all the users. Every video I watch on youtube or link I follow online gets me nowhere except the same enter Admin user name/password. Any help would be great.

unable to uninstall program - not in programs list Win 11

I have been trying to uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements. It is running successfully under Win 11. It is not shown in Programs & Features. There is no uninstall app. It is not in the Uninstall list in the registry. I tried Revouninstaller but that doesn't see it either. Adobe haven't responded to my request for help.

If anyone has any further suggestions I would be happy to try them. Many thanks

I think I misunderstood the issue described earlier.

From the picture, it appears that the installation program does not have permission to add KeePassXC under C: \ ProgramData \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Start Menu \ Programs. It refers to not having access to the C: \ ProgramData \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Start Menu \ Programs folder

You need to check the permissions of the folders in the path step by step

Also, is user an administrator account? The following methods can be used to check

Press win+r, enter the command netplwiz to check if it belongs to the administrator group

Additional suggestions, I'm not sure if there will be other strange permission restrictions. Can I install this PC completely new after buying it back?

 

My windows 10 64-bit is installing programs and drivers as 32-bit

It is highly likely that the corrupt systems files are the culprit for these errors.

I suggest you repair your Windows installation.

Follow these steps to solve the error:

1. 1. Press Windows Key + X to open the Win + X menu and choose Command Prompt (Admin).
2. 2. When Command Prompt opens, enter sfc /scannow and press Enter.
3. 3. The repair process will now start. Don't close Command Prompt or interrupt the repair process.
