Windows 10: Trying to make mailing labels in ACCESS --when trying to print error message on name and...

Making mailing labels using ACCESS......Doing it as I always do. When previewing the label, I get "error" in stead of names, and "error" instead of city/state. How to eliminate this issue? Then I get a message about parameters, and the word TRIM. I have no idea what/where to take care of this.

Access - Create mailing labels

How do I complete the Create Mailing Labels function in Access. I'm able to complete the process to the to the "Finish" point. When I select it , it brings up an error notice that there is insufficient space to print 3 columns - and requests a parameter
change from "Trim". I've tried changing page margins, reducing font size, and changing column size - to no avail.

Fortunately, the old method of copying the Access list, then opening it in Excel, and copying into Word where the Mail Merge process will produce the labels.

Is there correction in my attempts to complete it in a much simpler Access way?

1. Go to devices in Settings
   > Double click on the printer > Click on
   Printer Properties > Go to Advanced tab.
   
2. You will see “Printing Defaults”. Click on it and set the option from the drop down menu and click on
   OK and check the status of the issue.

Mail Merge Labels for Windows 10

To turn off the default table setting in Mail Merge for Windows 10, you can follow these steps:

1. Open a new blank Word document.

2. Click on the Mailings tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.

3. Click on the Start Mail Merge dropdown menu and select Labels.

4. In the Label Options window, select the type of labels you want to use and click OK.

5. In the Mail Merge pane on the right side of the screen, click on Select Recipients and choose your recipient list.

6. Click on Insert Merge Field to insert the fields you want to include on your labels (e.g. name, address, etc.).

7. Click on Preview Results to see what your labels will look like.

8. If everything looks good, click on Finish & Merge and select Print Documents to print your labels.
