Windows 10: Trying to Reinstall Windows, Nothing is working! Error - 0x803000024

Hello, I need some help with a clean install of Windows after my PC took a dump It would only boot to BIOS no matter what I did. I used a USB drive and not a CD to install. I can't get past the "Where do you want to install Windows?" screen. When I select the drive SSD I get an error: 0x803000024. I looked up other people's solutions to this problem and either it doesn't help or I get stuck somewhere else.Remove all other hard drives but the one you are going to install Windows on > Completed and didn't helpRemove all USB and SATA devices and cables > Completed and didn't helpCreate

Do not download or use Restoro PC Repair Tool, just try the steps listed below that.

 

Computer no longer working

clearing the CMOS worked, but I had to unplug one of my hard drives. I am trying to reinstall windows on this HD but during the install I get "Error: Installation Failed: D:\I386\asms. Error Message : Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)."

Any suggestions?

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
