GPEDIT.MSC seems to be the only way that should be effective, but it is not. There doesn't seem to be any settings that allow this.

To remove Day from Date and Time, kindly right click the Taskbar > Uncheck Lock the taskbar > Drag the taskbar down > Right click on the Taskbar and lock it again > Check if it removes the day of the week or not.

from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.
