    Trying to scan on my HP ENVY 4511. It prints but won't scan. Briefly, I saw a note saying as of 11-1-2022 it won't support scanning.

    unable to scan to computer

    My HP Envy 4524 printer set up using HP website and prints fine using wireless connection. However, when attempting a scan printer window message saying no computer found. I have read various suggestions indicating web scan may need to be enabled on
    my laptop, but the steps suggested could not be followed as I think they may refer to an earlier version of windows. Can anyone suggest how I might get my scan to computer enabled using windows 10?

    Inability to Scan: HP Envy Photo 6230

    A few weeks ago I bought a HP ENVY Photo 6230 and set it up successfully with a Toshiba Satellite laptop (upgraded in 2015 to Windows 10). Printing and scanning worked well until a few days ago when the ability to scan stopped for apparently no reason.
    Conventional troubleshooting and HP repair software have not worked. Scanning is now only available through HP Smart. The HP Envy simply states "Connecting" then "One or more of the following problems has prevented the scan..." Any help much appreciated.
