Windows 10: Trying to sync iCal (Apple Calendar) to my Windows 10 Calendar it stays at Looking for your...

Hi,

I have been trying to add and sync the iCal (Apple Calendar) by adding the iCloud on the Windows 10 Calendar app. However after entering my email address, name and password (iCloud password) it keeps staying at "Looking for your settings..." and doesn't do anything.

Below are the specific steps that I am taking:

1. Open up Calendar App (Windows 10).
2. Click on the gear icon at the bottom left of the Calendar app.
3. Click Manage Accounts and Add account.
4. Click on the iCloud on the Add an account screen.
5. Enter email address, name and password.
6. Clicking sign in.

I have tried searching for a resolution on this but I am unable to find anything to help me with this. I am not sure if others are facing this issue.

I really need help with this!

calendar sync?

IT might be helpful if you describe the steps you're taking to try and sync the calendars. I'm not sure where eMail might come into the picture.

Also describe your goal as clearly as possible. you're trying to sync a calendar on the iPhone with the Calendar App on Win10, not a calendar in an eMail client?

ical seems to be the canonical calendar format for apple - not sure - just a guess.

I am unable to sync ical on windows 10. I do not have two-step verification on my apple Id. However I still cannot sync my ical calendar on the default calendar app on windows 10. It keeps asking to verify the account but all the details are correct. Any
suggestions ?

Sync with network calendar (iCal)

That sounds good, but isn't the plug-in made to sync the Nokia calender with the iCal calendar on a Mac via cable or bluetooth? I'm looking for a software that lets me sync with an calendar in ical format on a WebDAV server via a network connection.
