Trying to troubleshoot exploit mitigations causing a program to crash/fail to run

I am trying to troubleshoot a program that does not run and crashes when I enable window's exploit mitigations. During this process I have enabled audit mode for every mitigation that supports the optioneg. Control Flow Guard and Arbitrary Code Guard and disabled mitigations that do not support audit modeeg. Caller Check and SEHOP. However, when I run the programsucessfully, I do not get any notification nor do I see any events in windows event viewerunder windows Security-Mitigations, both kernel and user logs that indicate which mitigations may be interfering. I am on Windows 11 home

  2. 0x80070057 when trying to run Program Compatibility Troubleshooter in Windows 10

    Hi Paul,

For us to better isolate your concern, we'd like to get additional information. Kindly answer the following questions below:

    • Are the programs already installed on your computer?
    • What other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
If you're still trying to install the programs, we suggest changing the compatibility mode of the installers before installing the programs. Follow the steps below:

    • Right-click AOL Desktop installer or Facebook Gameroom.
    • Select Properties.
    • Go to Compatibility tab.
    • Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for.
    • Click the drop-down option and select any Windows previous version.
    • Check Run this program as an administrator.
    • Click Apply, then OK.
    • Try to install the program using the installer.
We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    GPU-Z 0.8.7 crash on launch

W1zzard is asking you to test so that he can suggest next steps and be able to troubleshoot the issue you have.
If another version works, it would be one set of steps.
If several other versions also fail/crash, then it would be another.

  4. Trying to troubleshoot exploit mitigations causing a program to crash/fail to run

What is causing Prime 95 to keep failing all the time in the first 10 minutes?

...and what will be your next step if THAT fails to make Prime stable? More volts?

I would think you would want to be using the LEAST amount of volts possible (for heat and longevity issues). That's why I suggested you use a more scientific approach to troubleshooting your instabilty. Meaning, IF your RAM passes 10 loops of MemTest with no errors at the speed you are trying to run, AND Prime continues to fail, THEN consider giving a bump to NB, FSB and Vcore (in that order).
