    Trying to Update to 21H1 resulting in KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILED


    I was Attempting to Update my PC to 21H1 as it's a little far behind, regarding updates and Right in the Middle of it Attempting to Update and Restart, The whole PC crashes and I'm faced with a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILED BSOD.I'm not sure Exactly what caused this, As I've Searched a good bit and nobody appears to have my problem. The only thing relevant to my searches have nothing to do with Updating, and more so to do with Normal Everyday Use.Does Anybody know why even though I've NEVER gotten this Before, I'm suddenly getting only when attempting to Update?Here's My System Info:I'm just

    Issue(s) with 21H1 Update

    The Windows update list of installed updates has always been a confusing & incomplete list. I don't think you had a problem at all.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
