Windows 10: Trying to update to windows 11. Why does it freeze when getting to 55%. Any ideas?

Trying to update to windows 11 using the update system. Says not got enough space. Cleared space plus added external memory. But it still gets to installing 55% and then it stops? Any ideas?

The November Windows 10 update freezes at 55%

This is not the copying files 44% freeze, but a freeze at 55%. I was able to move on from 44% by increasing the USB memory to 32GB, but going beyond that amount of memory doesn't seem to help. This is a desktop machine and it has more than 100GB free on
the OS SSD drive.

There are no USB devices other than the stick in use, nor is there a SD card, or even a reader for one.

The 32GB stick was also sufficient to perform the update on a laptop with only 30GB free on the SSD drive and no USB devices attached.

Any suggestions as to how to move forward?

IS Microsoft aware of the freeze at this point?

 

Windows 11 freezes while booting

Hello, I have a problem with my windows 11.

Sometimes my PC will freeze while boot, it only freezes if I:

• Turn on the PC
  
• Reset PC
  
• Reboot / Restart PC
  
• Restart for update
  
• Enter advance / Recovery mode
  

and how can I solve this problem because I'm resetting this PC. if this problem occurs during the process of course it will be damaged, as well as while updating windows.

Is there any solution for this issue?, i Will appreciate your suggestion.

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.
