    windows defender has error code 2147467259 when manually updating virus definitions after window creator update

    computer was updated to windows creator edition on 5/10. when manually updating virus definitions, get error code 2147467259. when windows updates through the update agent, it looks like the definitions are updating. went to the event logs for windows
    defender and got an error code of 0x80004005. need to know why i'm getting this error and how to fix it.

    Virus and spyware definition couldn't be updated and error code 0x80070422 appear many time already try but still fail to update window defender

    Virus & spyware definition manual update on windows 10

    When I try to manual updating of WD, it shows Virus & spyware definitions can't update. showing that "Check your internet or network connection and try again."

    with

    Error code : 0x80240438

    Error description : The definition updates couldn't be installed. Please try again later.

    but after restarting WD is showing the Virus & spyware definitions are up to date with the last failed update time.

    Is it actually updated or not ............

    plzzzzzz help.
