Trying to Upgrade from 11 to version 23H2 but fails with code 0x800707e7. I have no secondary User Profiles to delete.

Hi,

My Surface Book 3 has been trying to update to Windows 11, version 23H2 for a couple of weeks now but the update keeps failing. The error code is 0x800f0805. I've tried a couple of solutions found in various threads but nothing has worked. I don't even remember everything I've tried at this point, but willing to start from scratch and work through the list. Any help is appreciated.

 

Windows 11 Update Fails with error: 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D

The reason for the failure couldn't be determined from the log.

Please use the Media Creation Tool and try running setup again. Let it fail with an error code -- e.g., 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D.

If the MCT method fails again, please share the latest setupact.log.

 

Installation of Windows 11 Update Version 23H2 fails.

I bought a used laptop with Windows 11 installed on it. Current version is 21H2. I tried to install version 23H2 but it always fails. Error code 0x80004005. I have googled this issue but none of the tipps I found there worked.

Who can help me with this problem?
