Windows 10: trying to use itunes music on windows video editor

Trying to use a song I have from Itunes in a video and it says it's not compatible. What is the file extension that is compatible with that program?

That seems to be a 1 year license and not a lifetime license.

Some WMP songs will not return to itunes library

When I try to access specific songs in itunes it says "file location not found" yet I can call the song up on wmp and listen to it.
Sometimes when I list the album in itunes the song is missing and other times it is grayed out. I am trying to put music to a video but I can only do it through itunes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have spent too much time watching facebook videos on how to sync these two programs

You may need to install a Visual C++ Redistributable Package.

If that does not work, try the solution below that was suggested on Apple's forums.

Open iTunes and go to the Radio. Play a song from any category. After that try playing a song from your own music.
