Windows 10: trying to watch a dvd movie and it keeps cutting in and out.

Trying to watch a video my son burned on a disc. The video begins, but keeps cutting in and out and I had never had this problem before watching a movie. However, I did just do an upgrade. Am I not using the correct media player?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

Go to File Explorer and open DVD drive. Double click on the movie you want to watch.

Or right-click on the movie and select Open with Media Player.

I would like to ask if the movie is in a Blu-ray disc.

I suggest you to update the DVD/CD driver by following the steps below and check for status.

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “devmgmt.msc”.
• Right click on DVD/CD Roms from the list and select
  properties.
• Under Driver tab click on Update button and follow the prompts to update the driver.
