Windows 10: Trying to Write Zero's to HD...Getting Error Message that says "Action Denied as you do not...

Hello,I am Trying to Write Zero's to HD and I'm Getting Error Message that says "Action Denied as you do not have sufficient privileges or the disk may be locked by another process"I did check and I am listed as the Administrator my computer so why wouldn't I be. LOL. Anyways, I'm not sure what the issue is. Desperately need help.Thank you in advance,Ally

Zero writing

I know zero writing a hard drive has its advantages in that it can prevent the average user from restoring sensitive data, but does it have any disadvantages? Is it possible to cause excessive wear on a HD from performing multiple zero writes? Not back-to-back, but like every six months.

I know some people perform zero writes when doing a clean installation of their OS

 

Write errors.

Messages? Talking smart write errors. Like you see in the health section of HD tune. I check before I copy a few hundred thousand files, then I check after and the number goes up.

Method 1: Take The Ownership Of The File/Folder.

I suggest you to follow the section Issue 1: I receive an "Access Denied" error message when I try to access or work with files and folders from

"Access Denied" or other errors when you access or work with files and folders in Windows,
restart the computer once after following the steps, and check for the issue.

Method 2: Turn Off User Account Control.

Note: User Account Control (UAC) is feature that helps prevent malicious programs, also known as 'malware', from damaging a system. UAC stops the automatic installation of unauthorized applications. UAC also prevents unintended changes to
system settings. If you have to disable this feature or option for any troubleshooting reason, then please enable it as soon as the troubleshooting is done. A security risk may result by using administrative credentials to run an unknown program. Only run
programs that you trust as an administrator.

Step 1: Press the Windows key and the
R key from your keyboard and type Control and hit
Enter.

Step 2: Select Small icons from the View by category and click on
User Accounts > Change User Account Control Settings.

Step 3: Then, change it to Never notify by sliding down the slider,
restart the computer once after making the above changes, and check for the issue.
