Windows 10: TThere is a delay in tthe appearance of Volume Controls in Windows 11

I recently upgraded my PC to Windows 11. When I click on sound control. The control panel appears bu the sound levels and brightness levels are greyed out and only appear after a slight delay 2-3 seconds . It is not always the case, but happens a lot of time during the day. Sometimes the panel itself appears after a delay of 2-3 seconds? Any Ideas what's causing this on Windows 11. It did not work this way on Windows 10 on the same laptop

The issue with volume control could have happened due to the corrupted or outdated driver. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the 2 methods below:

Method 1: Run the Audio Troubleshooter on the system.



Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. We would suggest you run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio



Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key+X, select Control panel.
• Change the view as an option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2. Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer website.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
• Right-click on the Sound card and click on Uninstall.
• Install the latest audio driver from the manufacturer website.

Disable volume button?

I'm afraid there is no provision for a software volume control in WP. There was an app in the Store (actually it is still there) but it quit working many versions ago. The developer has attempted to get it working on later versions of WP7 and WP8, but it
appears the neccessary interfaces into the hardware just aren't there.



All I could suggest is to see if you can ge tthe device repaired.

You can use Family Safety to monitor the accessed websites, search history, and the apps and games they're opening. Currently, there is no way to control the volume of your device through Family Safety. However, we'd like to suggest in hiding the volume
control from the taskbar. Here's how you can do this:

• Press Windows key on your keyboard or click Start.
• On the Cortana search box, type Taskbar Settings and click the result.
• Under Notification area, click Select which icons appear on the taskbar.
• Turn Off the toggle for Volume.
• Verify that the volume is removed from the taskbar.
