Windows 10: Tuner card no longer working under Windows 10

I have a Dell Inspiron D005608 PC Pentium E5500 dual core processor 2.8GHz , now running Windows 10. The TV tuner card KWorld PCI Hybrid DVB-T 210SE worked fine under Windows 7 but not now with the loss of Windows Media Player. What can I do without replacing perfectly functional hardware?

what is the make and model of the tuner card?

is it compatible with windows 10?

right click on start and select device manager

are there any yellow triangles or "other devices"?

is the tv card visible in the list?

right click on it and select properties, is it enabled?

 

USB TV tuner inhibits sleep

Thanks for all the suggestions! Unfortunately they didn't work...

- DDU'd the AMD graphics drivers, installed the latest, no dice
- BIOS is latest already, so didn't touch it
- Rolled back windows updates, no dice
- powercfg -requests lists "NONE" in all sections, so not a borked update caused this. Just in case, I tried the powercfg requestoverride suggestion, but that didn't help either
- I also tried powercfg /systemsleepdiagnostics, but that report didn't contain the unsuccessful sleep attempts with the tuner plugged in, only the successful ones with the tuner unplugged

So, am at a loss...

Please uninstall the TV tuner card and then install it in
compatibility mode and check.

Please follow the steps to uninstall the drivers from Device Manager:

a. Press Windows + R.

b. Type devmgmt.msc and press
Enter

c. In Device manager search for the
device, right click on it and select the option uninstall.

d. Restart the computer and check.

Once you have completed the steps, we suggest you to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

After you have downloaded the driver:

a) Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select "Properties".

b) Select "Compatibility" Tab.

c) Place a check mark next to "Run this program in Compatibility mode" and

select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.

d) Let the driver install and then check the functionality
